Winners
Rowe Park came nearer to
the magic £100,000 earnings when he won a 5 furlong handicap at Ascot
(10/7/2010). Ridden by Alan Munro from a draw near the rails he settled in
about 4th, a couple of lengths behind the leader. He travelled well and came off the rail
to challenge approaching the furlong marker. He moved into the lead with half a
furlong to go and held on well to win by a neck, securing £9,346 for his
owner.
She’s Humble
won her first
steeplechase today at Huntingdon (16/1/2010) under a great ride from Andrew
Thornton. He jumped her out in front
and quickly established a four length lead.
He gave her a breather down the back straight allowing the others to
close, then he kicked on around the turn for home. She jumped the last well and held off the
challengers up the extended run in for a one and a quarter length victory
for the members of Valence Racing.

She’s Humble
finished 3rd
in a handicap chase at Plumpton (19/4/2010). She actually never got into the race but
jumped well and benefited from the falls of her rivals. She earned another £556 for her connections.
She's Humble
ran another good
race to finish second at Plumpton today (4/4/2010). She was allowed to bowl along
prominently, though not actually make the running on the very heavy
ground. She led down the back
straight and around the home turn where she was challenged by the mud loving
favourite. She was headed over the
last and despite digging in she was unable to hold onto the winner, going
down by 2 and a half lengths, but she was 18 lengths ahead of the third. This netted £952 for her owners.
In The Money
Rowe Park earned another £934 when finishing 4th in a 5
furlong handicap at Newbury (16/4/2010).
She’s Humble earned her owners £238 when finishing 4th
in a novice’s handicap chase at Plumpton (22/3/2010).
Rowe Park collected just over £1000 when finishing 5th at
Lingfield (20/3/2010).
